Hey That Dog Has A Big Nose by John Margeson is a illustrated picture book full of fun characters, humor, blended with a positive message. The characters are cartoonish and lively, the feeling of the layout of the text and the characters are illustrated gives you a sense as of you if you were flipping through the
Sunday Morning Funnies. Think of the peanuts with the exaggerated text and Denace The Menace Comic Strip with
the simple illustrations and swooping lines. The variety of characters will leave plenty of opportunities as well to use different voices to being the story even more to life.  The story will leave you with a smile from beginning to “THE END”.

Hey That Dog Has A Big Nose by John Margeson while good humored and light hearted, ends with a very important message…why does that dog have a big nose? Well I can’t tell you that, that is for you the reader to find out.  Enjoy just the illustrations while flipping through and the diversity of characters or enjoy it as a whole.

About the Author

John is an art director, designer and illustrator and has worked for ad agencies, design studios, and children's book publishers. His advertising skills have garnered many industry awards in TV broadcast and graphic design. His true love, however, is drawing. His humorous illustrations have been used in many consumer and trade magazines including Forbes, the Washington Post, the Chicago Tribune, the Pittsburgh Post Gazette, Christianity Today, Honolulu Magazine, and many others. Fox Sports once bartered for an original illustration that appeared in the Washington Post. The price was a football autographed by the Fox Sports NFL crew, (including Terry Bradshaw--a prize indeed for a Steeler fan!). John has drawn for advertisers such as Discover, KFC, Wendy's, McDonald's, Sheraton Hotels, and AT&T. Other illustrated books include: "Balls!" and "Balls! Round 2" written by Michael J. Rosen and several titles by Jamie McEwan, including "Whitewater Scrubs," "Rufus the Scrub Does Not Wear a Tutu," and "Scrubs Forever." In addition to children's books you'll find his work pop up in dozens of educational school readers for McGraw-Hill, Harcourt, and Pearson. He loves visiting schools and libraries to talk about and demonstrate illustration - and to read "Hey! That Dog Has a Big Nose!!"  John lives in central Ohio with his wife and pooch.
