This is a story about Mike a young teenage boy and Maggie his sister that doesn’t see things the same way, a new girl Nic stops at the pet shop that their mother owns searching desperately for her Labradoodle. Mike having a crush on Nic decided he would volunteer to help search for her dog,
along with Mikes sister Maddie and two friends. Each one of the friends bring their own skills to the
hunt to solve the mystery disappearance of Nic dog Baxter, they wound up to the escape scene, where it happened in the yard and trace Baxter next steps. This a great story with lessons to be learned along with reading a enjoying mystery youth book, Mike and Maddie look beyond their differences and wound up being better brother and sister for it. Working together with their friends by putting their heads together and solving the mystery they decided to open their own business The Pet Shop Society.
I recommend this story I enjoyed it very much, it's humorous, clever and shows how friends when they come together they indeed can over come life's mysteries and when one door closes another opens.
